process improvements
I continually strive to improve the processes in all organizations to which I belong.
While on the Walton High School Foundation Board (August 2019 - May 2023) I implemented a shared Google drive so that records would be retained to empower parent volunteers to improve upon past processes. Before this was put into place, individuals kept their own records and when the parent volunteer left the board, all of that valuable information was lost.
While on the Walton High School Chorus Booster Board (June 2021 - May 2023) I implemented a shared Google drive for the board so that records would be retained to empower parent volunteers to improve upon past processes.
While serving as the Walton High School Robotics Team’s Travel Lead (August 2021 - May 2022) I implemented a shared Google drive for the Travel Planning Committee and created trip spreadsheets to be used as a template to include all trip information in one document with a similar structure for easy electronic access to the many details related to a trip.
While a Database Researcher at Broward County Schools (December 2013 - June 2017) I tested, documented, trained, and supported district staff on the administration of our internal Broward Standards Assessment (Florida Standards Assessment practice test) using the new Item Bank Test Platform (IBTP) online testing software. I also proposed and configured the JIRA by Atlassian issue tracking system to record online testing issues. This knowledge base allowed more people to respond to customer calls. You can see the quote below from my May 2017 review.
