website builder

I have experience building websites using the following content management systems: WordPress, Squarespace, MS Sharepoint, and Plumtree. I have also built websites using Dreamweaver. This has involved writing the content, organizing it and creating the graphics with Canva and Photoshop. I also performed the set up and configuration for the WordPress and Squarespace websites.

Walton High school foundation website

August 2019 - December 2022 as a member of the Walton High School Foundation Board I created a new WordPress website in June 2020 for the Walton High School Foundation and managed it until December 2022. I used WP Engine as the WordPress hosting service. I replaced the website I inherited that was built with GoDaddy Website Builder to enable the Foundation to retain information rather than simply overwriting content on the old graphics-based website. I also implemented the Tickera WordPress plugin to enable online ticket sales for Student Leadership Council events.

Walton high school robotics Team website

August 2019 - December 2022 I managed the Walton High School Robotics Team website. I converted the existing WordPress website to be hosted on WP Engine and I changed the theme twice to update the look and feel of the website. I also implemented a category structure to the posts so that the new content added to the home page would be reflected in the appropriate detail pages. This was completed to ensure that the whole website, not just the home page received updated content.

Walton high school chorus website

June 2021 - May 2023 I managed the Walton High School Chorus website. I changed the theme to give it an updated look.

Rhonda knabb online resume

February 2023, I created an online portfolio website for myself using Squarespace.

Department MS sharepoint intranet website

As a Database Researcher at Broward County Schools, I built the Student Assessment and Research department’s MS SharePoint intranet website. I organized, added, and wrote much of the content for our department’s intranet website. This was a new initiative for our school district and every department was required to build out their websites. Thankfully, even though I had been hired as a Database Researcher, I had the skills to excel at this new challenge.

Mrs Knabb spearheaded the department’s effort to create a Sharepoint site. She also trained other staff on how to post information on Sharepoint. She trained our Test Developers on how to use new technologies.

Partner/Staff Portal Website, License Key Generation Web Application, and Corporate Website

As Business Applications Manager at MetiLinx from Nov 2002 through June 2004, I managed our partner and staff portal website that utilized Plumtree portal software. I also managed our license key generation web application; designed requirements, tested, deployed, and supported the next-generation version of the same web application. I also managed our corporate website using Dreamweaver. The following is an excerpt from my Feb 2004 MetiLinx review:

Rhonda took over metilinx.com design and development saving MetiLinx $10,000 per month (reducing outside costs). She also developed our new licensing tool, the cornerstone of iSystem Enterprise.

Support Website and Corporate Website

As Systems Advisor at Ecometry from July 1998 through July 2002, I managed our support website and corporate website using Dreamweaver. The following is a quote from the Significant Accomplishments section of my Ecometry Review:

Not only is Rhonda solely responsible for the content of the Customer Support web site, she has recently taken on the physical maintenance of our [corporate] site as well.
